A few days ago a 10 year old pregnant raped by her stepfather has become a key point in Mexicos abortion debate. The girls stepfather has been arrested. One of the biggest problems is that abortion is not legal in any state in Mexico. Luckily in the girls homestate it is legal to abort ON THE FIRST 90 DAYS. The 10 year old girl has been pregnant for 120 days.This can affect us because if people dont learn how dangerous it is to have a child pregnant and how it can change completely our laws and ways of living. These people ruin the kids life forever and it makes it difficult for the child to overcome it.

China death toll rises to 2,000

Last week a 6.9 magnitude earthquake in north west China destroyed many peoples homes, buildings, cities and villages. The death toll is now nearly 2,ooo people and 12,315 injured. Of the injured 1,334 are i9n serious condition. About 100,000 needed to go awy from that area because of quakes. We should be careful because this means that nature is mad and is punishing us. 78 injured in Indonesia in a jet plane

A few days ago a Boeing 737 crashed in Jakarta, Indonesia. The plane carried 103 passengers. 78 were injured and 16 died. This can affect us because if we travel with bad weather it can be a tragic accidents, airlines should prevent these accidents by not flying.

Saudis arrests more than 100 alleged terrorist

Last week in Saudi Arabia, more than 100 civilians were accused of planing attacks against police and oil installations. One of the interior ministers spokesmen said that 101 people were preparing attacks and preparing suicide cells to attack oil installations. The group of terrorists was composed 47 Saudis, 51 Yemenis, one Somali one Bangladeshi and one Eritrean. The rest have relationships with al Qaeda in Yemen.

Magnitude 4.4 earthquake rattles southern california

Tuesday morning at 4:04 am there was a tremor of 4.4 of magnitude.There were no official calls of damage and deaths. Actually there was first a first small tremor and then a big tremor.The epicenter was 11 miles away of southern California. A 7/11 worker said that the floor was falling down. A CNN reporter also felt them very big and was scared.

The ex-president Alfonso Portillo was captured on Tuesday 26 of January by Guatemalan law enforcements in Izabal. He was a fugitive of the Guatemalan and US government because of money laundering. His search started since they wanted his indictment.

Nasa finds cocaine in a shuttle hangar

Last week at Kennedy space center cocaine was found in the Discovery shuttle hangar.
